fast pc as seen on tv
Is there any way to use my directv from another room on my media center pc?Have wireless network not on dtv…?
In my guest room I have a media center PC. It is ethernet connected to my router which is also wireless for the rest of the house. I have Directv in 2 rooms, but not in the PC room. My in-laws will be staying in this room and I would like to see if they could watch TV in here somehow without running wires everywhere. I have windows xp media center edition and I do have the components to use as a MCPC. My directv units do not have tivo nor anything fancy like that. Any help and fast is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Sorry. It can’t work this way. Media extenders allow you to stream FROM your MC PC, not the other way around. Your inlaws will have to watch TV with you all…
